Popular YouTuber and educator Khan sir on Saturday reacted strongly against the alleged rape and death of a minor girl in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, saying that accused of such crimes should be tried for acts of treason or “desh droh.”

The girl, who was raped and brutally attacked on May 26, died from her injuries at a government-run hospital on Sunday morning. Reports allege that she was left waiting in an ambulance for several hours before being admitted to the hospital on Saturday.

In a deeply emotional appeal, Khan Sir called on the nation’s legal fraternity to refuse legal representation to those accused of committing such horrific crimes.

Khan Sir, whose real name is Faizal Khan, added that he had spoken to Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan about the issue, noting that the Governor, too, expressed serious concern.

“I spoke to the Governor about this. Such people should be boycotted. What do you expect in a country where even rapists get good lawyers? I request the lawyers of our country that if all the lawyers unite so that if someone has committed rape, acid attack, burnt a woman to death, or kidnapping then they will not get a good lawyer. Such incidents should be brought under the category of treason. The Governor was also very concerned about this matter,” he said.

The incident in Muzaffarpur has sent shockwaves through Bihar.

The girl was raped in her village in Muzaffarpur district, where the accused brutally slashed her throat and chest following the assault, according to officials.

According to police, the perpetrator—who has since been arrested—attempted to kill her by inflicting severe injuries with a blade.

Two days after the rape victim from Muzaffarpur district died at a government hospital in Patna, the Bihar government on Tuesday suspended the Medical Superintendent of Sri Krishna Medical College & Hospital (SKMCH) in Muzaffarpur for negligence.

Additionally, the state health department, in an order dated June 3, 2025, removed Abhijeet Singh from his role as Acting Deputy Superintendent of Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH), where the minor girl succumbed to her injuries on Sunday.
