Group Captain Jai Singh was awarded the Commendation for Distinguished Service and Duty by the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) in 2014. He was also rewarded with the Commendation for Distinguished Service and Duty by the Chief of the Indian Air Force in 2020. The Malsar village native was also selected for the National Security Academy in 2003.
