Double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu clinched her second title of the season, beating Denmark’s world No. 25 Line Hojmark Kjærsfeldt in straight games to win the Hylo Open Super 500 tournament in Saarbrücken on Sunday, November 1.
The former world champion, who won the Japan Open in July before finishing runner-up at the French Open last week, showed her control and precision to dominate Denmark’s eighth seed Line, cruising to a 21-12, 21-14 win in the 39-minute final of the USD 500,000 event.
Sindhu thus grabbed 9200 ranking points to stay on track for the season-ending World Tour Finals.
Second seed Sindhu entered the final with a commanding 6-1 head-to-head record against her Danish opponent, whose only win against the Indian came at the 2025 Sudirman Cup Finals.
Sindhu will give next week’s Korea Open a miss.
