Union Home Minister Amit Shah will take out a ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ march in Hyderabad on Monday. The event will be in response to the ongoing protests against SIR by Congress and other opposition parties.
The march will start from 3 pm to 6 pm. The march will start from the statue of Babu Jagjivan Ram in front of Nizam College and go to Mojjamjahi Market via Abids.
Union Minister Mr. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Telangana BJP President N. Ramachander Rao will attend it. At the same time, the National President of BJP will also take out a similar march in Patna, Bihar and Kolkata, Bengal.

BJP has taken out many such marches in the country since October 22.
4 reasons behind BJP’s campaign…
1. SIR Support: The opposition is raising questions about the particularly intensive revision of the voter list. BJP says the purpose of SIR is to purify the voter list and include the names of eligible voters.
2. Responding to allegations of vote theft: Rahul Gandhi and the opposition parties are accusing the Election Commission of irregularities in the voter list and vote theft. BJP wants to present its stand among the public by terming these allegations as misleading.
3. Defense of the Election Commission: BJP says that the credibility of a constitutional institution like the Election Commission is being weakened by making baseless allegations.
4. Encircling Congress and Opposition: The BJP is accusing the opposition of adopting double standards regarding constitutional institutions and the electoral process.
BJP’s march against opposition rally in Delhi
In protest against INDIA Block’s rally at Ramlila Maidan, BJP had also taken out ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ march across the country including Delhi on Sunday. A march of about one kilometer long was taken out from Hari Nagar to Tilak Nagar in Delhi.
The families of the victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and people from the Sikh community participated in it. BJP alleges that Congress has deliberately chosen the day of November 1 for the rally against SIR at Ramlila Maidan. Anti-Sikh violence took place on 1 November 1984.
Case against SIR also in Supreme Court, 13 opposition leaders are petitioners
On 12 October 2026, Congress, SP, TMC, RJD, Left parties and other opposition leaders led by Rahul Gandhi marched from Barakhamba Road to the Supreme Court in Delhi. On the same day, 13 leaders of 12 parties filed a petition in the Supreme Court.
