Planning To Buy A New Skoda Kushaq Facelift? Check 5 Key Things Ahead Of Its Launch Tomorrow

Skoda Kushaq Facelift: Skoda India is all set to launch the Kushaq facelift tomorrow, on January 20, 2026. First introduced in 2021, the compact SUV is a fast selling model of the brand in India and competes with popular rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate and MG Astor. The upcoming update will focus on fresh styling, latest features and safety.

Expected Exterior Design

The Kushaq facelift will get subtle but noticeable design updates at both the front and rear. At the front, the SUV will feature revised headlights and new daytime running lamps (DRLs). The front grille design will also be updated, along with a redesigned bumper that now gets angular silver trim for a sportier look.

At the rear, the most notable change will be the new illuminated ‘SKODA’ wordmark. This will be accompanied by individual light elements, mirroring the lighting theme seen at the front. The Skoda winged-arrow logo will continue to be present on the bonnet.

Expected Interior And Cabin

While Skoda has not yet revealed the interior, the Kushaq facelift is expected to receive a longer equipment list. Spy images suggest that higher variants could get a panoramic sunroof, a feature that many rivals already offer. Other expected additions include new graphics for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system.

The facelift could also introduce a segment-first rear seat massage function, rear disc brakes for 1.5 TSI variants, and an improved air-conditioning system for better cooling.

ADAS And Safety Upgrades

Skoda has confirmed that Level 2 ADAS will be gradually introduced across its MQB-A0-IN-based models, starting with facelifts. The Kushaq facelift is likely to get this advanced safety suite, along with a 360-degree camera.

The Kushaq facelift is expected to continue with the existing 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines.
