The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the registration window for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026. Students planning to pursue an MBA in the 2026-27 academic year can register for the exam at cmat.nta.nic.in. They can use their CMAT scores to apply for MBA or PGDM courses at AICTE-approved institutions and universities.
It is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted at various centres nationwide. It will evaluate your skills in quantitative techniques, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, it will test your decision-making abilities. It will be held for a duration of 180 minutes.
Applications for the CMAT 2026 exam will be accepted until November 17, 2025. The MBA entrance exam fee can be paid until November 18, 2025. After this, corrections to the CMAT 2026 form will be possible from November 20 to 21. The CMAT 2026 exam date will be announced soon.
CMAT 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university. Final year students of a graduation degree can also apply for this exam.
Age Limit: There is no age restriction for appearing in the exam.
CMAT 2026: Application Fee
The application fee for CMAT 2026 varies by category and must be paid online:
General Category: Rs 2500
Female Candidates: Rs 1250
Reserved Category (SC, ST, PWD, OBC-NCL, EWS): Rs 1250
CMAT 2026: How To Apply
The CMAT 2026 application process is entirely online. Follow these steps to complete the form:
Step 1. Visit the official NTA CMAT website at cmat.nta.nic.in.
Step 2. Click on the CMAT 2026 registration link on the homepage.
Step 3. Complete the registration by providing basic information such as name and contact details.
Step 4. After successful registration, log in and fill out the application form.
Step 5. Upload your photo, signature, and other required documents in the prescribed format.
Step 6. Pay the application fee according to your category.
Step 7. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
