The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has extended the choice-filling deadline for the first round of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate or NEET PG counselling 2025. Candidates who have not yet completed their choice-filling for the first round can visit the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, to do so.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has withdrawn a total of 169 PG DNB seats as per MCC’s official notification. However, the MCC is yet to announce the final deadline for the choice-filling process for the first round of counselling. The revised schedule for the first round is expected to be released soon, and all candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for further updates.

MCC has removed some additional seats. The Committee stated that the revised seat matrix, allotment results, and the reporting schedule will be released on the official website soon.

“The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS is in the process of revising the seat matrix in larger interest of candidates after removal of excess seats and reapplication of roster to maintain the reservation policy as per information bulletin. The Revised Schedule and Seat matrix of Round-1 of All India PG Counselling 2025 will be uploaded shortly on the MCC website. Also, the schedule of State PG Counselling will be revised and updated on MCC website,” reads the official notice.

According to the earlier MCC schedule, the seat allotment results were set to be released on November 8. Following the release of the results, candidates were asked to join their allotted institutes and participate in the document verification process between November 9 and November 15.

There will be a total of four rounds of All India Quota (AIQ) counselling — Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round. All candidates who have qualified for the AIQ seats based on their NEET PG rank are eligible to participate.
