The body of a 50-year-old Hindu jeweller was found inside a blue drum in Bangladesh’s Mymensingh district on Wednesday. Police suspect that he was murdered before his body was disposed of.

The deceased has been identified as Niranjan Chandra Sutradhar, who operated a jointly owned jewellery store in the Atharbari Building area in the district. According to Bangladesh daily Dainik Ittefaq, his body was recovered after locals noticed a drum floating in the Begunbari area and informed the police.
