NBA star Kevin Durant acquired a minority stake in Ligue 1 side PSG on Friday through his media and investment company, Boardroom.

The Phoenix Suns star, who is one of the most decorated player in the sport and the French Capital City club could co-opeate on a wide-series of commercial, investment, and content initiatives, while also exploit the potential in merchandise, media content generation and international strategy in addition to any potential sporting expansion.
“With Kevin, we look forward to developing ambitious initiatives that will drive the continued global growth of Paris Saint-Germain and QSI,” PSG Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi said.
‘A club and a city that is so close to my heart. This club has big plans ahead, and I can’t wait to be a part of the next phase of growth,” said Durant reflecting on the partnership.

PSG claimed their maiden elite European title, the UCL, with a 5-0 rout of Inter Milan in the final of the tournament as Luis Enrique’s men outclassed the Serie A giants.
