- Airlines Offer Full Refund Due To Middle East Tension | Flights Cancelled

The airspace of the Middle East has been affected due to increasing tension between Iran and Israel. Due to this, flights from cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Manama have been canceled on a large scale. On Tuesday alone, 357 flights were cancelled.
Keeping in view the problems of passengers, big airlines like Air India, Indigo, Emirates and Etihad have provided the facility of full refund and free flight rescheduling on ticket cancellation. The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) is continuously monitoring the situation.
Air India: Full discount will be available on travel till March 5
Air India has said that passengers who had booked tickets on or before February 28 and their journey was scheduled till March 5, can reschedule their flights without any extra charges. If passengers do not want to travel, they can ask for full refund of the ticket. For this, you can apply by visiting the company’s website.

IndiGo: No cancellation charge on bookings till March 7
IndiGo has given complete flexibility to passengers going to Middle East till 7 March 2026. The airline has said that affected passengers can apply for a refund through the ‘Plan B’ link on the company’s website. The company plans to restart some flights to Muscat, Jeddah and Medina from March 4, but this will depend on local clearance.
Etihad and Emirates: Abu Dhabi flights suspended till Wednesday
Etihad Airways has suspended all flights to and from Abu Dhabi until 2pm (UAE time) on Wednesday. Passengers traveling till March 7 can get their money back by filling the refund form. At the same time, Emirates has said that passengers can choose the option of re-booking or refund for flights till March 5.
Qatar Airways: Benefits on booking till March 10
Qatar Airways has provided relief to passengers traveling between February 28 and March 10. Passengers can choose a new date within 14 days of their original date or get the unused value of their ticket as a refund. The airline has appealed to the passengers to check the flight status before leaving the airport.
Special arrangements for Indians stranded in Dubai
For Indian citizens who are stranded in Dubai, ‘EasyMyTrip’ has offered help in making return arrangements. An online form has been issued for this. Seats are limited, so people are being helped to reach home on priority basis.
