Maruti sold record 2.42 lakh vehicles in May: 34% more than last year; Sales of Hyundai, Mahindra and Toyota also increased by 11%

Auto mobile companies have released their monthly sales reports today on June 1. Maruti Suzuki has set a new record in vehicle sales in May. It sold a total of 2,42,688 lakh vehicles, which is about 34% more than the 1,80,077 units sold last year in May 2025.

Along with the Indian market (domestic sales), exports to foreign countries have also played a major role in the company’s growth. At the same time, Hyundai sold 47,837 more cars with 9% growth across India in May and Mahindra sold 58,021 more cars with 11% growth across India.
