Actor Harish Rai, who played the role of Rocky’s uncle in the film KGF, has passed away. It is being told that Harish Rai was suffering from cancer for a long time. He breathed his last at Kidwai Hospital in Bengaluru. There is mourning in the Kannada film industry due to his demise.
According to Money Control report, Harish Rai was suffering from thyroid cancer, which had spread to the stomach. Due to this, his health deteriorated and he suffered a lot due to his stomach being filled with water.

Due to cancer treatment, Harish Rai had stayed away from films for a long time. Later he made a comeback with the film KGF. However, after the cancer spread again, he had to stay away from films again.
Kept a beard to hide the swelling in the throat
Harish Rai had told in an interview to YouTuber Gopi Gaudu that he was suffering from cancer for the last three years. He had revealed that he had kept a long beard in the film ‘KGF’ so that he could hide the swelling in his throat.

In the interview, Harish Rai had also told that due to financial constraints, his treatment could not be done on time. Due to lack of funds, treatment was delayed, due to which his condition worsened.
