Months after staying away from the public eye, actor Katrina Kaif recently joined the birthday celebrations of her brother-in-law and actor Sunny Kaushal. Her appearance came just days after revealing that she and her actor-husband Vicky Kaushal are expecting their first child.
Sunny’s birthday brought together close family and friends. It also marked Katrina’s first public appearance since the much-discussed pregnancy announcement. Actor Mini Mathur shared a photo on her Instagram story from the celebration, which took place on Monday.
The photo showed the mother-to-be smiling brightly alongside Sunny, Mini herself, and Isabelle Kaif. Dressed in a red and white dress, Katrina displayed what many called a pregnancy glow. While Mini shared the photo on social media to wish Sunny, it is drawing attention from fans eager to see Katrina after the big news.
Katrina and Vicky Kaushal had announced their pregnancy a week earlier. Both posted a polaroid where Vicky is seen looking joyfully at Katrina’s baby bump.
In the announcement caption, they wrote, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude (sic). The couple’s announcement drew supportive messages from friends and celebrities across the film industry, who shared their good wishes in the comments.
The couple got married on December 9, 2021, in a private ceremony in Rajasthan.
On the work front, Katrina was last seen in the film ‘Merry Christmas’. She is yet to announce her next project.
Vicky was recently seen in ‘Chhaava’, which was released in theatres on February 14, 2025. He will be next seen in ‘Love & War’, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The actor previously worked with Ranbir in ‘Sanju’ and Alia in ‘Raazi’.
