Rajya Sabha MP and senior advocate Kapil Sibal has announced a ₹1 crore legal aid fund to support peaceful student protesters facing legal cases linked to the protest movement. Addressing the media alongside CJP members, Sibal said the fund would help provide legal assistance to individuals who he believes have been unfairly targeted despite participating in peaceful demonstrations.
