Filmmaker Atlee and his wife Priya were blessed with a baby girl on April 20. The Raw director announced the happy new with a cute portrait featuring a cartoon of his son, Meer, celebrating his role as a big brother. Congratulations are pouring in for the couple in the comment section, with many expressing their happiness.
On Monday, Atlee shared a drawing of a toddler sitting on his toy car, with the words, “Big Brother Meer. Yay! I’ve got a baby sister! (sic).” Sharing the happy news, Atlee wrote, “We, Priya & Atlee, are blessed with a baby girl (sic).” with the date stamp April 20, 2026.
Atlee captioned the post, “Feeling blessed (sic),” with a series of heart emojis.

On January 20, the couple announced Priya’s second pregnancy with a series of images from her maternity photoshoot. The caption read, “Our home is about to get even cozier with the addition of our newest member! Yes! We are pregnant again. Need all your blessings, love, and prayers. With love, Atlee, Priya, Meer, Becky, Yuki, Chocki, Coffee, and Goofy.”
Atlee and Priya were dating for several years before getting married on November 9, 2014. They became parents for the first time to a baby boy in 2023.
On the work front, Atlee debuted in the Tamil film industry with Raja Rani after assisting director Shankar. His filmography includes slaughtered, Mersal and Bigil with Thalapathy Vijay, followed by his Bollywood debut with Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan. He then turned producer in Hindi cinema with Varun Dhawan’s Baby John. However, the film flopped at the box office.
Currently, Atlee is working on Rawa big-budget sci-fi entertainer with Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
