Iran-Israel-US War News Live Updates: Explosions In Tehran As Israel Launches ‘Wide-Scale Wave Of Strikes’

US-Israel-Iran War Latest News Updates Today: The conflict in West Asia has sharply escalated with direct US-Israeli strikes on Iran and retaliatory missile attacks across Israel and the Gulf states. The West Asia conflict, which began on February 28, between the Islamic Republic and Israel entered its 24th day on Monday, with both sides intensifying military operations.

Iran has kept up retaliatory attacks on Saudi Arabia, UAE and nearby nations in response to US-Israeli strikes. The attacks on the oil-rich nations, some of which have targeted energy facilities, have exacerbated concerns of a global energy supply shock.

Meanwhile, the United States has issued a worldwide caution advising Americans, particularly those in the Middle East, to remain vigilant and exercise increased caution while traveling or living abroad. The advisory urges US citizens to closely follow security alerts from the nearest US embassy or consulate, noting that periodic airspace closures could disrupt travel plans. It also warned that US diplomatic facilities, both within and beyond the Middle East, have been targeted recently, and that groups supportive of Iran may attempt to target American interests, locations associated with the US or its nationals in different parts of the world.

Further, leaders from more than 20 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, Canada and Australia, issued a joint statement condemning recent attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The leaders accused Iran of targeting unarmed vessels and civilian infrastructure, including oil and gas facilities, and warned that the effective closure of the vital maritime route is escalating regional tensions. In the statement, they called on Iran to immediately halt threats, mine-laying, and drone or missile attacks on shipping.

As conflict in West Asia continues to escalate, Iran’s national security chief Ali Larijani, top commander of the IRGC’s Basij force, Gholamreza Soleimani, and Iranian intelligence minister Esmail Khatib were killed in an Israeli airstrike.

According to Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, the US-Israeli attacks on Iran have killed more than 1,300 people, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and top Iranian officials.

The US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) has warned that the toll may be even higher, estimating at least 1,858 people have been killed, including both civilians and military personnel.
