In collaboration with the Ministry of Education’s SWAYAM portal, IIM Bangalore is set to launch more than 60 free online courses. These programmes focus chiefly on AI learning and management skills, helping learners strengthen and advance their careers in an increasingly technology-driven corporate world.
One of the greatest advantages of these free IIM courses is their flexibility, you can complete them alongside your job or other professional commitments. The courses cover both the fundamentals of AI theory and practical, industry-ready skills such as generative AI, data-driven decision-making, and AI-integrated management.
This initiative aims to provide millions of learners across India with free access to high-quality management education.
Free Courses On SWAYAM
All 60 courses will be available on the SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) platform, with registrations beginning in January 2026. There is no fee to enrol; however, those wishing to obtain an IIM Bangalore certificate must sit an examination costing Rs 750.
The curriculum includes a wide range of essential topics related to artificial intelligence and modern management.

Most IIM Bangalore courses on SWAYAM are Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), typically lasting 5 to 12 weeks, depending on their complexity. Learners should expect to dedicate 4 to 5 hours per week.
