Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday unveiled a 77-foot bronze statue of Lord Rama at the Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math in Goa, on the occasion of the ‘Sardha Panchashatamanotsava’, the 550th-year celebration of the Math.

The structure was crafted by celebrated sculptor Ram Sutar, and organisers have described it as the world’s tallest statue of Lord Rama.
