How to Keep Room Cool: People in most of the states of India are troubled by heat and humidity. Despite intermittent rains and storms in the last few days, there has been no significant reduction in the heat. In such a situation, especially the people living in small rented rooms in Delhi-NCR who do not have AC in their house, they are facing a lot of problems.
Follow these tricks to keep the room cool
Due to strong sunlight and heat, small rented rooms start getting hot like a pan and it becomes difficult to stay in them at night. If you are also worried because of this then stop worrying now. Here we are telling you some easy ways with the help of which you can keep your small room very cool even without AC.
ice-bottle fan: First of all, fill water in both the plastic bottles and add 2 spoons of salt in it. Adding salt does not melt ice quickly. Now keep these bottles in the freezer and freeze them. While sleeping at night, keep these frozen bottles in a tray and keep it right in front of your table fan or cooler. When the air from the fan collides with this ice and comes to you, it will provide cold cooling just like AC.
Jugaad of wet sheet: In the afternoon, hang a cotton white sheet soaked in water and wrung out on the window of the room. When the hot air coming from outside comes inside after filtering through this wet sheet, the temperature of the room will immediately drop by 4 to 5 degrees.
Uses of Blackout Curtains: Keep the windows and doors of the room closed from 10 am to 5 pm and keep dark colored thick curtains drawn, so that direct sunlight and heat wave cannot enter the room.
Cross ventilation: After sunset i.e. after 6 pm, open all the windows and doors of the room. Run one fan near the window facing outside (like an exhaust), so that hot air from inside the room can go out and cool air can come in through the other window.
Less use of electronics: Replace the yellow bulbs in the room with LED lights, because yellow bulbs produce a lot of heat. Reduce the use of TV, laptop and heavy gadgets in the afternoon.
