While tempers flared around the Clippers superstar after ‘The Klaw’ put up a historic performance in a win, Leonard’s reaction was… well, classic Kawhi.

When Kawhi Leonard gets rolling, defenses usually suffer. On this night, the Minnesota Timberwolves got the full experience.
‘The Klaw’ delivered a brutal offensive clinic, dropping 45 points to power the Los Angeles Clippers to a 153–128 win at the Intuit Dome.
It was one of the most efficient scoring nights of the NBA season, and it left the Wolves visibly frustrated — so frustrated that they just had to throw hands after the final buzzer.
And while tempers flared around him after the game, Leonard’s reaction was classic Kawhi.
As players argued and chaos briefly unfolded, the normally stoic superstar simply pointed at the commotion and cracked a wry smile, looking almost like a spectator watching the fireworks he had quietly set off.
Tensions boiled over when Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels got into a heated confrontation with Bennedict Mathurin near midcourt. Players from both teams rushed in as voices rose and shoving began, forcing teammates and arena security to step in before things escalated further.
Given the way the game unfolded, the frustration wasn’t exactly surprising.

Leonard was simply unstoppable. He finished with 45 points, five rebounds and five assists, torching Minnesota with ruthless efficiency. The Clippers star shot 15-of-20 from the field, drilled 6-of-9 from three-point range, and calmly knocked down 9-of-10 free throws.
In short: he scored whenever and however he wanted.
The Timberwolves, meanwhile, had no defensive answer despite boasting one of the league’s better defensive units this season.
For the Clippers, it was a dominant win. For the Timberwolves, it was a long night capped off with a little extra postgame heat.
