Panic spread after a gas leak at an ONGC drilling site in Andhra Pradeshโs Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district. Visuals show massive blazes and smoke erupting from the site. The incident triggered panic among locals and workers as the gas continued to gush out for nearly two hours at Irsumanda village in Malikipuram mandal.
Tahsildar Srinivasa Rao inspected the area, while officials confirmed that senior ONGC authorities had been alerted and technical experts were being rushed to contain the situation.

As per the preliminary information, no death or injury has been reported so far.
