More than 500 athletes represented India at the 2026 edition of the Asian Games, which concluded on Sunday (October 4) in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. India won a total of 85 medals, including 21 gold, 27 silver and 37 bronze, to finish fourth in the medal tally. Neeru Dhanda, Kumkum Mohod, Chikitha Taniparthi and Sahil Jadhav were among India’s multiple gold medallists, with each winning two yellow medals for the country.
