Abhishek Sujit Sharma, who grew up in a slum in Mumbai, has proved just that. Despite limited resources and severe financial constraints, Abhishek cleared the highly competitive JEE Advanced examination and secured admission to IIT Delhi.
Abhishek lived with his family in Lokmanya Tilak Nagar, Mumbai, in a small rented room. His family struggled to meet their everyday needs, and the lack of basic amenities often made studying difficult. However, financial hardship never came in the way of his ambition to study at one of India’s premier engineering institutes.
