Imagine a sporting event where the competitors can run, play football, and box, but none of them are human. The 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games are underway in Beijing from August 22 to 26, bringing together over 2,000 humanoid robots from 16 countries. The five-day event features sporting competitions as well as challenges designed to test how well robots can perform practical tasks, offering a glimpse into how quickly humanoid technology is evolving.
