Delhi Police recovered the body of a 22-year-old specially abled girl kidnapped and murdered in Kalindi Kunj. Accused Rajpal, caught on CCTV, was arrested after a brief encounter.
In the footage accessed by police, accused Rampal is clearly visible carrying the girl on his shoulders as the victim was not able to walk.
The Delhi Police recovered body of a 22-year-old specially abled woman who was kidnapped and murdered in Kalindi Kunj area in South East Delhi. The unfortunate incident has sent shock waves across the city.
The crime is said to have taken place on the intervening night of May 31 and June 1. The incident of kidnapping was caught on camera. After police began probe into the case, they scanned CCTV installed in the area and zeroed in on an individual, identified as Rajpal (35), after he emerged in the video with the girl.
CNN NEWS 18 has accessed the CCTV of the alleged kidnapping. In the footage, accused Rampal is clearly visible carrying the girl on his shoulders as the victim was not able to walk.
Subsequently, Rajpal was arrested after an brief encounter with police. The 35-year-old is a resident of Etah in Uttar Pradesh.
Cops have also recovered the pistol that was used by the accused to escape the police. Besides, police have also recovered the clothes that he was wearing on that day.
