Scottish Event Campus, Scotstoun Stadium, Tollcross International Swimming Centre, and Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome will host CWG 2026 events.

Scottish Event Campus – The Hydro and SEC Armadillo: The Hydro will stage the opening and closing ceremonies along with the full netball competition, while the neighbouring SEC Armadillo hosts weightlifting and para powerlifting. Located on the Clyde, the campus opened in 1985 and was a key venue at Glasgow 2014, with the 14,000-capacity Hydro among the UK’s largest indoor arenas. (CWG 2026)
Scottish Event Campus – SEC Centre: The SEC Centre brings four sports under one roof: 3×3 basketball and 3×3 wheelchair basketball, bowls and para bowls, boxing, and judo. Spanning more than 22,000 square metres of exhibition space, it was also a principal venue in 2014, when it staged boxing, judo and wrestling. (CWG 2026)
Scotstoun Stadium – the athletics hub: Scotstoun will host the full athletics and para athletics programme, the marquee events of any Commonwealth Games, on a recently upgraded World Athletics-standard track. Unlike Hampden Park in 2014, it is a purpose-built athletics facility, and is also the home ground of Glasgow Warriors rugby club. (CWG 2026)
Scotstoun Stadium – scale and legacy: The venue will stage 43 athletics and 16 para athletics medal events, including the anticipated return of the historic mile race. It previously hosted squash and table tennis at Glasgow 2014 and synchronised swimming during the 2018 European Championships. (CWG 2026)
Tollcross International Swimming Centre – aquatics: Tollcross will host swimming and para swimming across 56 medal events between 24 and 29 July. Opened in 1997 in Glasgow’s East End, it has built a reputation as one of Europe’s premier aquatic venues and was the swimming venue for Glasgow 2014. (CWG 2026)
Tollcross International Swimming Centre – pedigree: Beyond the 2014 Games, the centre has staged the World Para Swimming Championships, the European Aquatics Championships and the European Short Course Championships, cementing its status as an elite competition venue alongside its role as a community swimming facility. Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome and Glasgow International Arena – cycling: Located in Dalmarnock, this purpose-built complex from Glasgow 2014 will host track cycling and para track cycling from 30 July to 2 August. It is named after Sir Chris Hoy, Scotland’s most decorated Olympian, and doubles as the headquarters of Scottish Cycling.(CWG 2026)
Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome and Glasgow International Arena – gymnastics: The arena portion of the complex will stage artistic gymnastics from 24 to 28 July. It previously hosted badminton during Glasgow 2014 and sits directly opposite Celtic Park, making it one of the East End’s established sporting landmarks. (CWG 2026)

The 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow will feature 10 sports, a reduction from the 21 originally planned for Victoria. The 10 sports are 3×3 Basketball, Artistic Gymnastics, Athletics, Bowls, Boxing, Judo, Netball, Swimming, Track Cycling, and Weightlifting.
