CSBC Launches New Website, Bihar Police Constable Result 2024 Expected Soon – News18

With several aspirants awaiting the Bihar Police Constable Result 2024, the scorecards are expected to be published soon on the new website at csbc.bihar.gov.in

The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) Bihar has launched a new website, csbc.bihar.gov.in. The board has said all the latest information will now be shared on the new website. With several aspirants awaiting the Bihar Police Constable Result 2024, the scorecards are expected to be published soon on the new website. The previous website csbc.bih.nic.in will no longer host the results or the answer key.

The Bihar Police Constable written examination was held on August 7, 11, 18, 21, 25, and 28 across 38 districts in the state. It was conducted using pen and paper. Candidates get a total of two hours to complete the exam. It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking in the exam.

Bihar Police Constable Result 2024: Steps To Check

Step 1 — Go to the new website of CSBC — csbc.bihar.gov.in

Step 2 — Click on the Bihar Police Constable Result link on the homepage.

Step 3 — Enter your login details such as your application number and password.

Step 4 — The result will be displayed on your screen.

Step 5 — Cross check all the details and take a print out for further use.

The selection process is held in four stages. Starting from the online written examination, the candidates have to go through a physical standard test and physical efficiency test if they qualify for the written examination. Then, a document verification and medical examination will be conducted to finalise the eligible candidates for the offered posts.

CSBC had earlier postponed the Bihar Police Constable exam due to a paper leak. The exam was initially held on October 1 but a few candidates were allegedly caught cheating in the exam using electronic devices following which it was postponed. As per reports, the question paper was leaked a day before the exam. Several candidates were arrested on the spot. The exam was scheduled to be held on October 1, 7, and 15 in two shifts but was later cancelled.
