CES 2026: Samsung Electronics on Tuesday, January 6, introduced AI-powered laptops – the Galaxy Book series – during CES 2026. The series includes the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6. According to the company, this is the most advanced version of the Galaxy Book series yet, featuring powerful performance.

Galaxy Book6 is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors — the first client system-on-chips (SoCs) built on Intel 18A. It delivers efficient, high-speed CPU, GPU and NPU1 performance.

1. Next-generation Intel performance
Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on Intel 18A technology, Galaxy Book6 delivers up to 60 per cent faster CPU performance with advanced AI acceleration for smoother multitasking and faster everyday workflows.
2. Built-in AI power with up to 50 TOPS
The Galaxy Book 6 features an integrated NPU that enables on-device AI features. These include image cleanup, instant translation, and intelligent search.
3. NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics for creators and gamers
Galaxy Book6 Ultra comes with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070/5060 Laptop GPUs. According to the company, this will unlock next-level creativity and entertainment experiences with high-speed AI image generation, super-smooth video playback and editing and deeply immersive gaming.
4. Advanced thermal system for sustained performance
It has a redesigned cooling architecture, including vapour chambers across Ultra and Pro models, larger fins and optimised airflow, which improves cooling efficiency by up to 35 per cent while keeping noise levels low, as per the company claims.
5. Long-lasting battery with super-fast charging
Galaxy Book battery delivers up to 30 hours of video playback, while super-fast charging restores up to 63 per cent battery in just 30 minutes on Galaxy Book6 Ultra.
6. Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with extreme brightness
With an advanced Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a touch screen, the laptop delivers up to 1000 nits of HDR peak brightness. Additionally, it features an adaptable refresh rate from 30Hz to 120Hz. According to the company, it helps deliver smooth and fluid motion, ideal for animations, gaming, and video streaming. Also, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass with DXC.
7. Premium audio with Dolby Atmos
Galaxy Book6 Ultra features a six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, including four force-cancelling woofers and two tweeters.
8. Slim, balanced and premium design
The Galaxy Book6, according to the company, features a thinner profile, refined bezels, and a precision-engineered hinge.
9. Seamless productivity with Galaxy AI and ecosystem features
It also features Galaxy AI tools like AI Select, Note Assist and natural language search, along with features such as Multi Control, Second Screen and Storage Share, enable effortless multitasking across Galaxy devices.
