The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the correction window for the List of Candidates (LOC) data. Students, parents, and schools can make corrections or modifications through the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

According to the official notice, corrections in candidate particulars such as name, parents’ name, date of birth (DOB), or subject details can be done during the scheduled correction period.

The last date to make corrections in the LOC data is October 27, 2025. CBSE has emphasised that this is another opportunity for schools, parents, and students to ensure that only accurate and correct student information is entered in the LOC, which will help in the smooth conduct of examinations.

The Board has urged parents to carefully check the following details before submitting corrections:

  1. The personal data of the student, including name, date of birth, mother’s name, and father’s name, is filled in correctly.

  2. All names should be written in full form, not short forms, as many future documents require the expanded versions.

  3. The surname must be included, especially if the student is planning to go abroad, as it is required by several countries.

  4. The date of birth should be accurate in all respects.

  5. If a passport has been issued to the student, the details should match those submitted in the LOC.

  6. Subjects must be selected carefully for both Class X and XII, as no changes will be allowed after the correction window closes.

  7. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that all the information submitted in the LOC is correct.

For more information and to make corrections, candidates and parents are advised to visit the official CBSE website.
