The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode which was all set to release the admit cards for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 tomorrow, November 5, has revised the schedule. The hall tickets will now be issued on November 12.

Once released, candidates who have applied for the examination can check and download the CAT 2025 admit card from the official website at iimcat.ac.in. Candidates will be required to enter their registration ID and password on the admit card portal to access their CAT 2025 hall tickets.

According to the official schedule, the exam will be held on November 30, in three shifts. Around 2.95 lakh students are slated to take the exam this year. CAT score is valid for admission to 21 IIMs and other prominent MBA colleges in India.

“Admit cards for 2.95 lakh eligible candidates have been generated and can be downloaded only from the CAT website (https://iimcat.ac.in) using the CAT application login ID and password between 12 November and 30 November 2025,” states the official notice.

How To Download CAT 2025 Admit Card?

Step 1: Visit the official website of CAT — iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link for CAT admit card 2025.

Step 3: Now on the newly opened page, enter your login credentials.

Step 4: Click on the login button and your CAT 2025 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: View and download the admission ticket.

Step 6: Take a print out of the CAT 2025 hall ticket for future reference.

CAT 2025: Exam Pattern

Based on previous patterns, the CAT 2025 exam will be conducted in three shifts: the first from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, the second from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and the third from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The exam will include three sections: quantitative aptitude (QA), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC). The paper will comprise a total of 66 questions. Candidates will earn three marks for each correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer according to the CAT grading system. However, there are no negative points for unanswered questions.
