The photo of the goody bag is going viral on social media.
The 18th BRICS summit will be held on 12 and 13 September at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. Journalists and delegates attending will be given a special goodie bag.
This bag includes products from different parts of the country. Its objective is to introduce Indian and foreign guests to India’s culture and local products.
This bag contains Sattu and Makhana of Bihar. Along with this, banana chips, coffee from Odisha and stole from Gujarat are also present in the bag.

One District One Product stalls set up

More than 1200 products from 770 districts of the country have been brought to the Bharat Mandapam.
‘One District One Product’ exhibition has also been organized at the BRICS conference. It showcases 70 unique art and handloom products from across the country.
This exhibition is part of a campaign to showcase more than 1,200 unique products from 770 districts to the world.
Sonia Duhan, Senior AVP, One District One Product, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, said, “All states and union territories are working under this initiative.

In Puri, Odisha, sand artist Manas Kumar Sahu created a special art with sand on Friday. It was prepared to welcome the BRICS leaders coming to India.
This sand art has pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Manas Kumar Sahu prepared this entire artwork in eight hours. This art is made entirely of sand.
BRICS Summit 2026: Program
Today BRICS Business Forum will be the main event. Russian President Vladimir Putin will address its plenary session. He will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will also attend the Innoprom exhibition.
Saturday, September 12
The BRICS leaders’ summit will begin with a closed-door session at 2:35 pm. There will be discussion on inclusive global governance and strengthening the multilateral system.

Sunday, September 13
The arrival of BRICS leaders will start at 9:55 am. This will be followed by an official group photo at 10:35.
The inaugural session of the summit will start at 10:50 am.
Guarded by 30 thousand soldiers, Akash missile deployed in air defense
30 thousand police and paramilitary forces will be deployed at the BRICS summit. Along with Akash missiles, fighter jets of the Air Force are also deployed in air defence. 11 hotels and 35 secure routes have been decided for foreign heads of state and delegations.
Face recognition cameras are also installed on the routes. There is a strict monitoring system like on Republic Day. Anti-aircraft guns, anti-drone systems and snipers are deployed here.
