Hema Malini cast her vote for Maharashtra BMC elections on Thursday. After voting, he showed his inked finger to the media outside the polling booth and talked to the media. During this time he had to face angry common citizens. Currently, a video from outside the polling booth is viral on social media, in which an elderly man is seen expressing his displeasure with Hema by showing an inked finger. In the video that surfaced, Hema Malini is seen talking to the media when the elderly man questioned her about getting special treatment at the centre. The man said, “I have been here for the last 60 years and for the first time there has been so much anarchy here. I have been here since 7:45 in the morning and I have voted at 9:30 in the morning. There is no accountability. No one is responsible. Even no local worker of BJP is present.” It is seen in the video that Hema nominates a member of her team to solve the matter. The team member tells the person that sir, let’s talk later. On this the angry person becomes more agitated. The team member, understanding the person, asks why are you calling him? On this, the angry person says – “These are from BJP, they are covered. If this happens for us, then BJP’s votes will be cut in this area.” Then Hema also addresses the angry person and says please calm down. Talk to you later Then she starts talking to the media. While talking to the media, she says – “Everyone should come to vote. Just like I have come this morning to vote. I have a lot of work ahead of me, they too will do it. But it is very important for every citizen of Mumbai. If you want safety in Mumbai, progress, good air, pothole free roads, then we have to take responsibility. Only if we express our right to vote, Mumbai will become better. I would appeal to all the people of Mumbai to come and vote for the right person.”
