At London’s Pink Ball, Isha Ambani Honours Mother Nita Ambani As Muse Behind Her Creative Vision

London’s vibrant cultural scene sparkled with a celebration of art, tradition, and style as the 2025 Pink Ball took center stage at The British Museum, paying homage to India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.

Set beneath the sweeping glass canopy of the museum’s Great Court, the evening was a visual and sensory tribute to India’s timeless artistry. Detailed design elements, ambient lighting, and live performances of Indian classical music transformed the space into a living tapestry of the subcontinent’s legacy. Renowned for its blend of glamour and goodwill, the Pink Ball welcomed an esteemed gathering of artists, cultural icons, philanthropists, and global influencers, all united in celebrating India’s growing cultural impact on the international stage.

Among those who graced the evening was Nita Ambani, Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, who attended the event to support her daughter Isha Ambani, also the co-chair of the Pink Ball.

Addressing the gathering, Isha Ambani, in an emotional tribute to her mother, called her the inspiration behind her love for art, dance and music. “My mother showed me that creativity is not just an expression, but a bridge,” she said.

Nita Ambani, while taking in the grandeur of the Ancient India exhibition, said: “Art has the power to bring the world together in respect, warmth, and grace”, reflecting on India’s civilisational depth, its traditions of devotion, artistry, and storytelling that have travelled far beyond its borders.

The “Ancient India” exhibition, which served as the cultural heart of the Pink Ball, invited guests to explore an extraordinary collection of ancient sculptures, manuscripts, and sacred artefacts—each reflecting the depth and diversity of India’s spiritual and artistic legacy. The exhibit unfolded as a quiet yet compelling narrative, seamlessly blending devotion, craftsmanship, and timeless beauty.
