A Mumbai court on Wednesday granted bail to the father of a 17-year-old boy whose car killed a man when he collided with it. The court found that the evidence available made it clear that the accused was not aware that his son was driving the car at the time of the incident. Judge RM Jadhav said- Keeping in mind the nature and seriousness of the crime and the role of the accused, I find that the accused can be released on bail with certain conditions. The judge granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. This accident took place on February 5 near Somaiya College in Ghatkopar area of Mumbai. 33-year-old Dhrumil Patel died and his wife Meenal Patel was seriously injured in the accident.
