Apoorva Mukhija is giving her fans a glimpse into her future and updating her followers about her future plans. Recently, Mukhija posted a few photos from across New York City and narrated different events that took place in her journey to New York.
She called them “kinda chic,” which includes joining her dream school in America, taking a vacation with 3 suitcases and beginning life in New York City.
In one photo, she posted a picture in front of New York University captioned “Kinda chic to get into your dream school.” In the second picture, she posted a shot of 3 suitcases captioned “Packing my life into 3 suitcases,” while the third picture, she posted a photo in front of a city fountain and wrote about living life as “in a movie.”
In the last photo, she wrote about how it was “kinda chic” to “have NY as my home.”

Apoorva also revealed that she applied to only one college in New York and had made a promise to herself that she would attend if she got accepted. After receiving the admission, she shared the update with her followers, saying, “So… I guess I live in New York now.”
The move comes as Apoorva works towards her plans in the cosmetics and beauty industry. She has previously spoken about having marketing knowledge but wanting to learn more about other areas of running a business. Pursuing an MBA is part of that plan.
Apoorva On Moving To New York
Speaking on the Untriggered by AminJaz podcast, Apoorva explained why she wanted to live in New York. She said she liked the city’s fast pace, fashion, food and architecture and had also seen it featured in several web series she enjoyed.
She also spoke about feeling nervous while leaving India, as the move meant stepping away from her friends, career and familiar surroundings. According to Apoorva, moving to a new country and becoming a student again would be a major change.
She further explained that expanding her social circle was another reason behind the move. She hopes the experience will help her build connections and gain knowledge beyond marketing, including logistics and other areas that could help her establish her own business in the future.
