The results of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2026, conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Education Department, have been officially released by State Education Minister Nara Lokesh. The announcement brings relief to lakhs of candidates aspiring for teaching jobs in the state.

According to the minister, 51% of in-service teachers who appeared for the TET qualified, while 47% of regular candidates cleared the examination. Candidates who appeared for the AP TET 2026 can check their results through the official website, tet2dsc.apcfss.in. They need to enter their hall ticket number and date of birth to access and download their scorecard.

Lokesh congratulated all the candidates who successfully qualified in the test and extended his best wishes for their future. He also urged candidates who could not clear the examination not to lose heart and encouraged them to prepare more thoroughly for the upcoming opportunities.

For the convenience of candidates, the Education Department has introduced a digital system to help them access their results without putting excessive load on the official website’s servers. Candidates can also check their results through WhatsApp by sending a message to 9552300009. The scorecard details can be accessed through the messaging service within seconds.

Along with the results, the Education Department has also uploaded the final answer key and response sheets on its website. The final scores were calculated using the final answer key approved by experts after examining objections submitted against the preliminary key released in August.

The AP government conducted the TET examinations in a transparent manner from August 5 to August 14 across the state, followed by a Computer Based Test (CBT) on August 16. The examination was held in two papers, with Paper 1 for primary school teachers and Paper 2 for upper-primary school teachers.

Officials advised candidates who have qualified in the TET to begin preparing for the upcoming teacher recruitment process through the District Selection Committee (DSC).

The TET score is particularly important for candidates seeking government teaching positions, as 20% weightage will be given to TET marks in the upcoming DSC teacher recruitment.
