In a major organisational reshuffle, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has replaced its IT cell chief Amit Malviya with Deepak Mhaskey of Chhattisgarh.
The reshuffle also includes changes to the party’s social media team, with four new social media coordinators appointed from different states.
Preeti Gandhi from Maharashtra, Shivanand Dwivedi from Delhi, Alok Bhatt from Uttarakhand and Arun Yadav from Haryana have been appointed as social media coordinators.
Anil Baluni will continue as BJP’s Media Convenor.
The changes come as the BJP looks to strengthen and reorganise its digital and social media operations across the country.
Nitin Nabin’s New Team
As part of its major organizational reshuffle, the BJP has appointed 13 national vice presidents, including former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Ram Madhav, Baijayant Jay Panda, D Purandeshwari, Rekha Verma, Bharti Pawar and Manpreet Singh Badal.
The party has also named its new national general secretaries, with Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb, Smriti Irani, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia among those appointed to the key posts.
BL Santhosh will continue as the BJP’s national general secretary (organisation). Shivprakash and Saudan Singh have been appointed national joint general secretaries (organisation).
The party has also announced a new team of national secretaries, including K Kavita Patidar, K Surendran, Bhola Singh, Pradip Varma, Phangnon Konyak, Anil Antony, Sandeep Pathak and Manoj Tigga, among others.
Piyush Goyal has been appointed national treasurer, while Tarun Chugh has been given charge as the central office in-charge.
