Alia Bhatt has showered praise on mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor Sahni for their performances in Grandma’s Wedding. Sharing her review on social media, Alia called the film heartwarming, hilarious and full of lovable family chaos.
On Friday, Alia shared a picture with Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Neetu Kapoor on her Instagram Story and wrote a sweet note for the film.
“Left with a warm smile on my face. Twists, turns & nonstop laughter… woven into a story with so much heart, and the awkward, hilarious, lovable chaos that families are made of. @neetu54 @riddhimakapoorsahniofficial both of you light up the screen #DaadiKiShaadi in your nearest theatres (sic)!!,” she wrote.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni recently made her Bollywood debut with Grandma’s Wedding alongside her mother Neetu Kapoor. Earlier, Aamir Khan had also praised the film and Riddhima’s performance after attending a special screening.
Directed by Ashish R Mohan, the film features Kapil Sharma, Sadia Khateeb, R Sarathkumar, Teju Kolhapure and Deepak Dutta in key roles. The film has opened to mixed reviews from critics.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the release of Alpha. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film also stars Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, and is scheduled to release in theatres on July 10.
