Adani Airport Holdings has finished his partnership with Turk’s firm Celebi for ground handling services at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel of Ahmedabad.
This partnership has been terminated after a notification from India’s Civil Aviation Security Bureau (BCAS). On 15 May, BCAS canceled the security clearance of Celebi. In such a situation, Celebi will have to transfer all ground handling facilities Adani immediately.
The decision to cancel Celebi’s security approval has been taken amid Indo-Pak tension. The Turkias supported Pakistan after the ‘Operation Sindoor’ launched by India to respond to the Pahalgam terror attack. In such a situation, Turki is being criticized in India.

In an order on 15 May, the airline regulator said that the security approval of Celebi Airport Services India Private Limited is canceled with immediate effect in the interest of national security. Turki and Azerbaijan supported Pakistan and condemned India’s recent attacks on terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK) under Operation Sindoor. Pakistan also used Turki drones on a large scale in the struggle.
Current employees will join the new ground handling agency
Adani said that all the existing Celebi employees at both airports will be included in the new ground handling agencies on the basis of their current terms and employment. Adani also said that ground handling operation at our airports will be unaffected.

Earlier, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) had formally terminated her relationship with Celebi for ground handling and cargo operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport. National security was described as the reason for this.

Regarding the matter, Celebi Aviation India said- “We are not the organization of the Turkas from any standard and fully follow corporate governance, transparency. We have no political relations with any foreign government or individuals.”
The company said- We are confident that Fact, Transparency and Commonians will conquer the missing. It is globally operated company. International institutional investors from Canada, USA, United Kingdom, Singapore, UAE and Western Europe have a 65% stake in the company.
