According to Navbharat Times, Tamil Nationalist group Tamiller Kachi (NTK) has strongly objected to parts of the film. Also demanded to ban the film. He claims that Sri Lankan Tamils are shown negative in the Kingdom.

Apart from this, Villan is named ‘Murugan’ in the film, which is one of the most revered gods of Tamil Nadu to Lord Murugan. Due to this, resentment and resentment are being seen among the people.

NTK says that the film maligns the identity of Tamils and cultural history. Protests took place outside many theaters across the state. Seeing the uproar, the police also reached the spot. Additional police force was deployed to bring the situation under control.
