A second chance for non-plan admission into 10th and 12th grades in government schools is available for the 2025-26 session. Students who missed earlier admissions can now apply again. The first phase of the examination has already been completed.
Who Can Get Admission?
Admission is restricted to students residing in Delhi. For admission into the 10th grade, a student must have passed the 9th grade. Similarly, for admission into the 12th grade, a student must have passed the 11th grade. Online registration is available on the official website of the board, edudel.nic.in.

Students from SC, ST, OBC, Minority communities, Kashmiri migrants, and those who have secured first, second, or third place in national games will receive some concessions in admission. These students will be granted a 5 per cent relaxation in the subject they wish to enroll in. Additionally, disabled students will receive a 5 per cent relaxation in all subjects, meaning they can gain admission even with slightly lower marks.
Meanwhile, the Delhi government has announced compulsory introduction of at least one English medium section in every class of every government school, reported PTI. This decision came in response to the ongoing demand from parents who want their children to have the option to study in English medium.
