The stock market is leading today i.e. June 16. The Sensex is trading at 81,300 with a gain of about 150 points. At the same time, the Nifty also has a gain of about 50 points, it is trading at the level of 24,750.

During the early trade, there is a rise in 18 out of 30 Sensex’s 30 shares and a decline in 12. Today there is an increase in energy, IT and FMCG shares. At the same time, banking and auto shares are trading under pressure.

Mixed business for Asian markets

  • In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at 38,215 with a gain of 380 points (1.01%) at 38,215 and Korea’s Kospi is trading at 21 points (0.73%) at 2,915.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading 20 points (0.08%) to 23,872 levels. At the same time, China’s Shanghai Composite is doing flat business at 3,378.
  • On 13 June, the US Dow Jones fell 1.79% to close at 42,197. Nasdaq composite fell 1.30% to 19,406 and S&P 500 fell at 5,976 to 1.13%.

Oswal pumps opportunity to invest in IPO The IPO of Oswal pumps, the pump and motor manufacturer, have been opened from June 13. Investors can apply it by 17 June. The company shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on 20 June.

Oswal wants to raise a total of ₹ 1,387.34 crore through pumps IPO. Out of this, ₹ 890 crore new shares (fresh issues) will be issued and ₹ 497.34 crore shares will be sold under offer for sale (offs).

Last week, there was a decline in the market Earlier on Friday, 13 June, the stock market was declining. The Sensex fell 573 points to close at 81,118. At the same time, the Nifty also fell by about 169 points, it closed at 24,718 levels.
