Vikas Dubey Gangster Case: Jayakant Bajpai, an accused in the dreadful Bikru case of Kanpur, got bail from the Allahabad High Court. Jayakant has been in jail for the last 5 years. He was the treasurer of the notorious gangster Vikas Dubey. Jayakant used to handle all his transactions and money to Jayakant Vajpayee.
Remind that Vikas Dubey gang attacked the police team who went to Bikru village in Kanpur in July 2020. Gangster Vikas Dubey and his associates had killed eight policemen including CO by firing rapidly.
Out of 44 accused of Bikru case, a case of gangster was registered against 30 accused. On 5 September 2023, these 30 accused were heard in the gangster case, in which 23 people were convicted. At the same time, he was freed due to lack of evidence against seven accused.
Explain that while convicting 23 accused, the court sentenced them to 10-10 jails. Also, a fine of 50-50 thousand was also imposed. All of them were produced in the gangster court of Kanpur countryside regarding the Bikru scandal, where the sentence was sentenced after hearing. At the moment, all these convicts are lodged in Mati Jail of Kanpur.
The convicted people included Prashant alias Dabboo, Arvind alias Guddan, Sanju alias Sanjay Dubey, Sushil Tiwari, Rajendra Mishra, Balgovind and Ramesh Chandra. All these were acquitted by the court for lack of evidence. At the same time, the other 23 accused were sentenced to 10-10 years and also imposed a fine of 50 thousand.
After the Bikru mass murder, the then Chaubepur Police Station Krishna Mohan Rai had lodged a gangster’s FIR against 30 accused out of 44 accused in connection with the Bikru case on 23-10-2020.
Vikas Dubey’s bloody game
The matter is on 2 July 2020. At night, CO Bilhaur had raided Bikru to arrest Vikas Dubey with the police force. Vikas Dubey had already received information about this rage. As soon as the police entered the village, Vikas Dubey and his shooters on the roofs started firing indiscriminately, in which eight policemen including the CO lost their lives. During this, some members of the police team had saved their lives by running away from the spot.
The entire Yogi government was shaken by this incident. Taking action, the police killed five members of Vikas Dubey gang in an encounter in a few days. 45 accused were sent to jail. Then on July 10, Vikas Dubey was also killed in an encounter.
Earlier, he was caught from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Police had said that Vikas Dubey had tried to escape from police custody and fired on the police. During this time the car overturned. In such a situation, the police also fired in self -defense, in which Vikas Dubey was piled up.
