The winter session of Parliament began on 25 November. It will end on 20th December.
Thursday is the eighth day of the winter session of Parliament. In the last 7 proceedings of the Parliament, Sambhal violence, Manipur violence, the issue of farmers’ demands and the Adani case were the most discussed. Even today there are chances of uproar on these issues.
Yesterday, during the meeting of women MPs with Priyanka Gandhi in the Parliament complex, they greeted her by saying Jai Shri Ram. In response to this Priyanka had said that we are women. Say Jai Siyaram, don’t leave Sita.
On Wednesday, MPs expressed their views in both the houses of Parliament. However, the opposition had walked out of the Rajya Sabha on the China issue. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar had said in Rajya Sabha that there is disagreement with China on some parts of LAC, to resolve which India and China hold talks from time to time.
After completion of Jaishankar’s statement, the opposition asked him for permission to clarify, but Dhankhar rejected it. Expressing objection to this, the opposition had walked out of the Rajya Sabha.

2 bills introduced in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha
Boiler Bill 2024: Union Commerce and Industry Ministry Piyush Goyal had introduced the Boiler Bill in the Rajya Sabha. This will repeal the 100 year old original law. The Boiler Bill, 2024 seeks to decriminalize certain offenses related to boiler activities. This Bill has special provisions for the safety of people working in boilers.
Railways (Amendment) Bill 2024: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav introduced the Railways (Amendment) Bill, 2024 in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. This bill will amend the old bill Railway Act, 1989. This bill is related to new rules in development, operation and other departments of Railways.
Lok Sabha Speaker said – Opposition MPs should not protest at the gate Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla appealed to the opposition MPs in the House not to protest at the Parliament Gate. The Speaker said that he has received complaints from many women MPs. They have to face many problems. Actually, leaders of INDIA block are protesting at Makar Dwar on Adani issue.
A total of 16 bills will be presented in the session, 11 will be discussed, 5 will be presented for approval.

The set of bills proposed for One Nation One Election are not part of the list yet, although some reports say the government may bring it in the session.
At the same time, it has been said in the Rajya Sabha Bulletin that an additional bill passed by the Lok Sabha, the Indian Aircraft Bill, is pending for approval in the Rajya Sabha.
