1. Pollution in Delhi: Supreme Court said – Close schools, do not remove restrictions of Stage 4 without asking us.
Pollution in Delhi has reached dangerous levels. Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded more than 500 in many areas. Supreme Court asked to close schools in Delhi-NCR. Also instructed the Central Government that the restrictions of Stage 4 will not be lifted without our permission. Even if AQI falls below 300.
All classes up to 12th online in Delhi-NCR: On Monday evening, Delhi government announced that from November 19 to 12, all classes will run online. Till now all classes except 10th and 12th were running online. Online classes will run in Delhi University till 23rd November and in JNU till 22nd November.
Atishi said- this is a medical emergency: Delhi CM Atishi called the increasing pollution a medical emergency. He said, ‘Delhi’s air is being polluted due to stubble burning in BJP ruled states. 2. Lawrence’s brother Anmol arrested in America, name has also appeared in Moosewala-Baba Siddiqui murder.
There are 22 cases registered against Anmol in different cases including murder, target killing, extortion, Arms Act.
Gangster Lawrence’s brother Anmol has been arrested in California. Last month, Mumbai Police had demanded his extradition. There is no information in which case the arrest has been made. Anmol had taken responsibility for firing at Salman Khan’s house. His name has also surfaced in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui.
NIA kept a reward of Rs 10 lakh: India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) has placed a reward of Rs 10 lakh on Anmol. He is included in the most wanted list. The agency had made Anmol an accused in 2 cases in 2022. Read the full news here…
3. Kailash Gehlot joins BJP, says- did not leave AAP under pressure from ED-CBI
Ashok Gehlot was given membership of the party by Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva. During this, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was also present.
Kailash Gehlot joined BJP 24 hours after resigning from the post of cabinet minister of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi government. Gehlot said, ‘People are saying that I did this under pressure from ED, CBI, but it is not so. I have never done any work under pressure in my life. Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said on Gehlot leaving the party, ‘He is free to take his own decision. Wherever you want to go.

Former Maharashtra Home Minister and NCP (Sharad faction) leader Anil Deshmukh was attacked in Katol assembly constituency of Nagpur. Unknown people threw stones at his car. Anil was returning after campaigning for his son: Anil Deshmukh’s son Salil is the NCP (Sharad) candidate from Katol assembly constituency. Deshmukh held a meeting in Narkhed in the evening. 5. 50 more CAPF companies will go to Manipur, Shah held meeting for the second consecutive day The Central Government has decided to send 50 more companies (5 thousand personnel) of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) to Manipur to control violence. Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting regarding the security arrangements of the state for the second consecutive day.
Internet ban in 7 districts for next two days: Violence continues in 7 out of 9 districts of Manipur since November 16. The ban on internet-mobile service in Imphal West, Imphal East, Bishnupur, Kakching, Kangpokpi, Thoubal and Churachandpur has been extended till November 20. 7. Ragging, death of MBBS student in Medical College of Gujarat, seniors made him stand for 3 hours A first year MBBS student died at GMERS Medical College in Patan district in Gujarat. Seniors had taken to ragging him. During this, the student was kept standing for 3 hours, after which he became unconscious. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment where he died. The incident is of 16 November.
FIR against 15 students, suspended from college: A case has been registered against 15 senior students of the college. All these students have been suspended from the college. After the incident, the anti-ragging committee of the college recorded the statements of 26 students (11 first year and 15 second year).
