The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted NEET PG 2026 on August 30 at designated centres across the country. Around 2.63 lakh candidates appeared for the examination. Following a disruption at a Jaipur examination centre, a re-exam was conducted on September 3, 2026 for the affected candidates. With the exam process now complete, candidates are awaiting updates on the NEET PG 2026 answer key, objection process and result.
Candidates can use the answer key to compare their responses and estimate their probable scores. However, NBEMS has not yet announced the date for releasing the NEET PG 2026 answer key or confirmed whether candidates will be allowed to raise objections.
Based on the previous year’s process, NBEMS may directly release the final answer key. However, candidates should wait for an official notification before drawing conclusions about the answer key or objection window.
As per the NBEMS information bulletin, the NEET PG 2026 result is scheduled to be declared by September 30, 2026.
The result will be published online through the official NBEMS website. Candidates will need to check their results through the online portal, as scorecards will not be sent separately by post.
Once the result is announced, candidates can access their NEET PG 2026 result and subsequently download their individual scorecards from the official website, natboard.edu.in.
How To Check NEET PG Result 2026?
Candidates can follow these steps after the result is declared:
– Visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.
– Go to the ‘Public Notice’ section on the homepage.
– Look for the link titled ‘Result of NEET-PG 2026’.
– Click on the result link to open the result document.
– Search for your roll number or application ID in the result document.
– Check details including your percentile and All India Rank (AIR).
– Download the result and keep a copy for future reference.
Individual scorecards are expected to be made available separately after the result declaration.
NEET PG Qualifying Cutoff
NBEMS will announce the qualifying criteria along with the NEET PG 2026 result. The cutoff varies according to the candidate’s category.
In the previous examination cycle, the qualifying threshold was 50th percentile for General and EWS candidates, while it was 45th percentile for General-PwBD candidates. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, including PwBD candidates from these categories, the qualifying threshold was 40th percentile.
The corresponding scores in the previous cycle were 276 for the 50th percentile, 255 for the 45th percentile and 235 for the 40th percentile. The NEET PG 2026 qualifying cutoff will be known only after NBEMS releases the official result and cutoff details.
