The board of Tata Sons Limited on Thursday approved giving a new 5-year term to N Chandrasekaran as executive chairman. According to the ET report, several Tata Trusts, which hold majority in the holding company, may challenge Chandrasekaran’s re-appointment as chairman. Chandrasekaran’s 9-year journey: Revenue reached ₹ 16.24 lakh crore. After Chandrasekaran took command in 2017, the scope of Tata Group has expanded significantly.
