There were many major factors behind the success of BJP in this election. It is believed that Bhajan Lal government has achieved success by providing jobs to the youth and there being no paper leaks. However, the impact of UGC’s opposition was visible on the party’s performance in big cities.
On the other hand, Congress’s performance was weak. It is being told that the party relied too much on the atmosphere created against BJP and did not show full activity in the elections. Apart from this, internal divisions within the organization, NEET paper leak and silence on youth issues harmed the party.

Meanwhile, a result of Parbatsar Municipality elections in Didwana-Kuchaman district of Rajasthan has become a topic of discussion. Here, candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) got only one vote each in different wards. At the same time, the special thing is that BJP candidate Kailash Chandra did not even have his own vote in the ward from which he was contesting.
