Sagar Pictures Entertainment, which made the superhit ‘Ramayana’ on TV in 1987, is now bringing ‘Shrimad Bhagavatam’ on the big screen. The studio has announced that it will be a big cinematic series of 7 films. It will start with ‘Shrimad Bhagavatam Part-1’. The series has been conceived and produced by Ramanand Sagar’s grandsons Amrit Sagar Chopra and Akash Sagar Chopra. Both are associated with this project and Amrit Sagar is also directing the first part. This film is being produced by Sagar Pictures Global. Whereas, spiritual guru and author Shri M is the research guide of this project, while Moti Sagar is its mentor. Shooting started in Ramoji Film City. The shooting of the film has started in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. It was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Telangana. The film’s cinematography is by Joel Schaefer, while Oscar-winning visual effects expert Clyde Edwards is its executive producer. Sagar Pictures Entertainment said that this project is dedicated to late Dr. Ramanand Sagar and Leela Sagar. Other important information related to ‘Shrimad Bhagavatam Part-1’ will also be shared in the coming months. This film will be based on Bhagwat Mahapuran written by Maharishi Vedvyas. In this, the life of Lord Shri Krishna, his teachings and the stories of many incarnations of Lord Vishnu will be shown on a large scale. The aim of the film is to convey these religious stories to audiences around the world with modern technology and stunning visuals.
