- Mumbai Airport Ganja Seized | ₹2.38 Crore Worth; Abu Dhabi Passenger Arrested

Customs at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport have arrested a 25-year-old passenger from Abu Dhabi with ganja worth Rs 2.38 crore. The accused has been identified as Moin Khan, a resident of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) had received information that the accused was bringing drugs. During the search, 6.823 kg of ganja was recovered from his luggage. During interrogation, he confessed to smuggling on commission to earn quick money. This was his first smuggling. The court has sent the accused to judicial custody for 14 days.

Former CEC Rajeev Kumar will be the chairman of HDFC Bank, will hold the responsibility for 3 years after the approval of RBI.

The board of HDFC Bank has decided to appoint former Chief Election Commissioner and former Finance Secretary Rajiv Kumar as part-time (non-executive) chairman of the bank. The bank has also appointed him as Independent Director for four years from June 30, 2026. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval.
The bank said that after getting RBI approval, Rajiv Kumar will hold the post of part-time chairman for three years. He will replace Atanu Chakraborty, who resigned in March 2026. Since then Keki Mistry was holding the responsibility of interim chairman.
Rajiv Kumar retired from the post of Finance Secretary in February 2020. After this he became the 25th Chief Election Commissioner of the country and conducted the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
